Stumbled across this little cafe on a recent trip to Helensburgh and thought we'd pop in for lunch. Bad move! Temperature outside was - 2, inside felt like - 1! None of the radiators were on so the jackets were kept on! As I started eating my chips (only vegan option apart from baked potato and beans) my breath was visible while talking to my lunch companion! Think it's meant to be going down the quaint route....if this means dirty and unkempt then quaint it is! They seemed a tad overwhelmed with the lunchtime diners even though there was only 10 people! We chose a seat looking out over the water but the dirt on the windows obscured our view! Gents toilets were disgusting and should carry a health warning! 7.50 for two small plates of chips and a tea! Will never return

Cafe with spectacular views over the River Clyde. Situated a short distance from Helensburgh and adjacent to a children's playground at Kidston Park which has a large range of swings, see saws, slides and other play themed facilities for small children. There is plenty of parking at this location. Staff in the cafe are friendly and there are plenty of tables inside and outside on a balcony. A good selection of food on offer and the service is quite fast. The only negative is the price which is a little bit on the high side.
Love it..... that place is stunning you got you kids super entrained, nice coffee shop, big variety in menu and coffee and cakes looks tasty with a super view.My son always looks at to see the submarine coming out and is really fantastic
